Lent begins at St. Ann & the Holy Trinity with two services for Ash Wednesday at 8:00 am (with ashes available until 10:00 am) and 12 noon (with ashes available until 2:00 pm). An evening service sponsored by the St. Mark’s Deanery, of which our church is a part, will take place at 7:00 pm at St. John’s Church, Park Slope, located at 139 St. John’s Place, between 6th and 7th Avenues (2, 3, or 4 train to Grand Army Plaza).

Episcopal Shield

Exploring our Faith/Knowing our Church is a three-week program intended to acquaint or reacquaint members of the St. Ann & the Holy Trinity community with the history, traditions and spiritual practices of Anglicanism and the Episcopal Church. We will explore together The Roots of Anglicanism, Anglican Worship and The Sacraments at a forum on each of three consecutive Sundays after the 11:00 am service. All are welcome to attend any and all of the sessions and join us for further discussion of these topics after the 6:00 pm Eucharist on subsequent Thursdays. Presentations will be lead by Fr. John Denaro, Mo. Nell Archer, Music Director Gregory Eaton and Seminarian Melinda Hall.
